What is the virtual/second opinion consultation fee?
Virtual/second opinion consultations at American Endocrine are out-of-pocket expenses, unlike in-person visits which are typically billed through insurance. While some insurance plans may cover "Telehealth" consultations when the doctor is licensed in the patient's state, our virtual/second opinion consultations are structured differently. At American Endocrine, all virtual/second opinion consultations are out-of-pocket, with fees set at $250 for in-state (Georgia) patients and $500 for out-of-state patients.
Do you take cash payments?
Certainly, we accept cash payments in most cases. For further details or to discuss specific payment options, please don't hesitate to contact us.
Do you accept Medicare and/or other government programs?
Yes, we do. Government programs rely on several conditions for insurance to be able to pay for your treatment. We're specialists in this; contact us, and we'll be happy to help you through the process.
